Questions

What is BOX VR?

BOX VR is a hosted virtual reality racing simulator experience. We bring a haptic racing sim with a full VR headset to your venue, run the session, guide new drivers and show live lap times on a leaderboard.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover Sussex and Hampshire, including Bognor Regis, Chichester, Portsmouth, Worthing, Brighton, Horsham, Winchester, Petersfield, Midhurst and Guildford. Corporate events can be booked anywhere in the UK.

What is the minimum age?

Drivers need to be at least 6 years old. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian throughout.

Do drivers need a driving licence or any experience?

No. Our team guides every driver, so complete beginners and experienced sim racers can all take part.

What space and power do you need?

A dry space, ideally indoors, of around 2m x 3m, plus a standard mains power supply that can run continuously.

How much notice do you need?

We ask for at least 14 days notice so we can confirm the date and plan your event.

Are there group discounts?

Yes. Larger groups receive a discount, shown automatically when you choose the number of drivers on the booking page.

Can people get motion sickness?

Most drivers are fine. Anyone who feels unwell can stop at any time, and our team keeps sessions short and comfortable for first-timers.

What cars and tracks are available?

Choose from 200+ vehicles, from road cars to open-wheel and prototypes, on world-famous circuits in dry, wet or night conditions.
